“Health Service Script” and “Health Service Modules” events are generated indicating SQL Server 2008-related scripts are failing

Problem: On agent-managedjavascript:void(0) systems that have SQL Server 2008 installed, but where SQL-DMO has not been installed from the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility Components package, scripts will fail to execute, resulting in the loss of monitoring-related data and events such as those shown below:
